Half Lord of the Fishes Pose (Ardha Matsyendrasana)

- Ardha Matsyendrasana improves spinal flexibility, stimulates the digestive organs, and relieves lower back pain. It also enhances detoxification and helps in toning the abdominal muscles.
- Avoid if you have a back injury or herniated disc.
Sit with your legs extended. Bend your right knee and place your right foot flat on the floor outside your left thigh. Bring your left foot close to your right hip. Inhale and lengthen your spine, exhale and twist to the right. Hook your left elbow outside your right knee and place your right hand behind you, fingertips pointing away from your body.
