Pigeon Pose (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana)
Benefits of this Yoga Pose:
- Eka Pada Rajakapotasana stretches the hips, thighs, and groins, increases hip flexibility, and releases tension in the lower back. It also stimulates abdominal organs and enhances blood circulation.
- Avoid if you have knee or hip injuries.
From a downward-facing dog position, bring your right knee forward towards your right hand and lower your right shin down. Extend your left leg behind you, keeping your hips square. Fold forward over your front leg and relax into the stretch.
