Triangle Pose (Trikonasana)

Benefits of this Yoga Pose:

  • Trikonasana strengthens the legs, stretches the hips and spine, and opens the chest and shoulders. It improves balance, enhances digestion, and stimulates abdominal organs.

 Step 1

Stand with your feet wide apart, turn your right foot out and your left foot slightly inward.


 Step 2

Reach toward your right foot with your right hand while extending your left arm upward, keeping your chest open.

  • Avoid if you have low blood pressure, neck problems, or headache.

Start in a standing position. Step your feet wide apart, turn your right foot out, extend your arms parallel to the floor, and reach toward your right foot. Place your right hand on your shin, ankle, or the floor outside your right foot. Extend your left arm toward the ceiling, creating a straight line from the fingertips of your left hand to your left heel.
